stressSOS is founded by Esha Warrier

I started stressSOS because I saw how often teens are given generic advice for managing stress, without tools that actually fit their needs. Unlike adults, we do not have the lived experience to handle stress healthily, which makes it a major trigger for further mental health struggles. stressSOS is about changing that by providing exposure to a range of practical, science-backed techniques so teens can find what works for them before stress spirals.

In designing the program, I focused not just on the content but on how it is presented, making sure the science is accessible without being overwhelming. Research, including data collection from schools in India and the United States, shaped the approach and mission. The goal is simple: give teens real, adaptable tools in a way that makes sense to them so they feel empowered, not lost, in managing their own well-being.

Mission

stressSOS is a sustainable resource platform to help teens develop healthy coping skills to deal with stress. Through practices designed for self-implementation and ease of use, stressSOS promotes self-awareness and preventative mental health care to build strong and resilient minds.
